INDIANAPOLIS - The Indianapolis Colts have a bevy of young talent at the cornerback position, but with youth, of course, comes inexperience.

Between Nate Hairston, Chris Milton, Kenny Moore II, D.J. White and Quincy Wilson, the Colts have an average of about 1.5 years of NFL experience, and just 15 games started between the five players.

So a few weeks back, the team re-signed fifth-year free agent Pierre Desir, who rose through the ranks to become the Colts' No. 2 cornerback last season, to provide more of a veteran presence at the position moving forward.

And this week, general manager Chris Ballard, dipping into his former days as the Director of Player Personnel and Football Operations in Kansas City, added another veteran at cornerback in free agent Kenneth Acker, who had spent his previous two seasons with the Chiefs.

Acker was a sixth-round selection by the San Francisco 49ers four years ago out of SMU, but would miss the entire 2014 season with a foot injury. He made his NFL debut Sept. 14, 2015, against the Minnesota Vikings, and had a good deal of success in his first NFL season, collecting 65 tackles, eight passes defensed and three interceptions in 15 games played with 13 starts.

Acker was then traded by the 49ers to the Chiefs just before the start of the 2016 season; he played in 25 games with two starts in his two seasons in Kansas City, collecting 40 tackles, four passes defensed, one fumble recovery and one interception.

Now with the Colts, Acker provides the cornerback position, at least in terms of career started, with nearly a 54 percent increase in NFL experience. He can also be a contributor for Indy's kickoff and punt coverage teams, having collected seven special teams tackles in his three NFL seasons.

So what does the film show on Acker? Let's check out some of his career highlights:
